Align and improve launch templates for Eclipse 4.7 The goal is to create launch configurations for the Mail and Hello World example applications that are complete and won't be modified by PDE during a launch. - Add a new attribute for JRE_CONTAINER and set it to JavaSE-1.8 which is required by Jetty and some Eclipse JFace bundles. - Enable the RAP Development Mode in the launch demo configurations. - Reorder the target bundles in the same way that PDE uses to order them, add the org.eclipse.osgi.util bundle to the Mail example which is a new requirement from 4.7M5 on. - Do _not_ set the `default` settings to the workspace bundles as this is removed by PDE in its standard configuration. The RAP project uses Tycho with Maven to build its bundles, features, examples, and p2 repositories, and it's easy to run the build locally! All you need is Maven installed on your computer, and then you need to run the following command from the root of the Git repository:
mvn clean verify
As a result, you'll get a p2 repository with all the RAP Tools bundles and features in
releng/org.eclipse.rap.tools.build/repository/target/repository/
Official builds are available from the [RAP Download page] 4.
