Add dependency to dash-licenses This is required to run the license check using the license tool [1] required by the Eclipse project handbook [2]: mvn org.eclipse.dash:license-tool-plugin:license-check -Ddash.summary=DEPENDENCIES Note: the tool still requires Java 11 hence it needs to be run in a separate build step and is not yet integrated in the build which runs on Java 8. EGit GitHub Connector is an Eclipse plugin for working with Git repositories hosted on Github. It is based on the JGit library, which is a Git implementation in pure Java, and integrates with EGit, which is the Eclipse Git Team Provider, and uses the Mylyn framework.
This package is licensed under the EPL 2.0 . Please refer to the LICENSE
file for the complete license.
In general, EGit supports at least the latest two Eclipse releases. For details, please see https://wiki.eclipse.org/EGit/FAQ
Newer version of EGit may implement new functionality, remove existing functions and change others without other notice than what is written in the commit log and source files themselves.
The EGit GitHub Connector uses the GitHub REST API v3.
Install the EGit GitHub Connector into Eclipse from the official update sites:
See also the EGit Downloads web page.
On-line documentation is available, and is also available in the Eclipse Help when the feature is installed.
