<h3>Preparation</h3>
<p>
The following steps will create the web services which will be used to test the
UDDI component of the Web Services Explorer:<ol>
<li>Select the main menu item Window-&gt;Open Perspective-&gt;Other... dialog to
bring up the <b>Select Perspective</b> dialog. In this dialog, select <b>
Resource</b>
and click <b>OK</b>.</li>
<li>Select the main menu item File-&gt;New-&gt;Other to bring up the list of
New Wizards. Select <b>Web</b> in the left tree view followed by <b>Web Project</b>
in the right and then click <b>Next</b> to move to the <b>Web Project</b>
wizard. Type <i>UDDIWebProject</i> for the
name of the web project and click Next. In the J2EE Settings page, ensure that the <b>J2EE Web Application Project</b>
radio button is selected. Click <b>Next</b> to move on to the J2EE Settings
Page. Ensure that the J2EE level is 1.3 and click Finish.</li>
<li>Expand the newly created <b>UDDIWebProject</b> web project's folders to arrive at
<b>Web Content/WEB-INF/lib</b>. Select <b>lib</b> and right click to bring up
its pop-up menu. In this menu, select <b>Import...</b> to bring up the list of
Import Wizards. Select File system and click <b>Next</b>.</li>
<li>Use the Browse... button to navigate to the directory containing <i>
<a href="testbeans.jar">testbeans.jar</a></i> and select this file. Click <b>Finish</b> to import the jar
file.</li>
<li>Right click on <b>UDDIWebProject</b> and select New-&gt;Other... from the
pop-up menu to bring up the list of New Wizards. In the list, select <b>Web
services</b> in the left tree view followed by <b>Web service</b> in the right
tree view and click Next to move to the <b>Web Service</b> Wizard.</li>
<li>In this wizard, select <i>Java bean Web service</i> in the <b>Web service
type:</b> dropdown and keep clicking <b>Next</b> until the <b>Web Service Java
Bean Selection</b> page has been reached. Choose the <b>Browse classes...</b>
button and search for <i>StockQuoteService</i> and click <b>Finish</b> to
create the web service.</li>
<li>Repeat the previous step with the following beans: AddressBook, Echo, and
Hello.</li>
<li>Click the Launch Web Services Explorer icon in the main menu bar to launch
the Web Services Explorer.</li>
<li>Switch to the Favorites page by selecting the Favorites icon in top
toolbar of the Web Services Explorer. When the page is loaded, move to the
navigator pane and expand the <b>Favorite UDDI Registries</b> folder and then
select the <b>IBM UDDI Test Registry</b> node. Click the <b>Add to UDDI Page</b>
tool in the Actions pane. The Web Services Explorer will switch back to the
UDDI Page and its navigator pane should show a new <b>IBM UDDI Test Registry</b>
node. In the Actions pane, click on the <b>Edit </b>link in the <b>Actions</b>
column of the <b>Registry Name</b> table and then change the registry name to:
<i>IBM UDDI Test Registry - wsadtest1</i>. Click <b>Go</b> to save the change.
Ensure that the registry node in the navigator pane displays the new name.</li>
<li>Select the <b>UDDI Main</b> node in the navigator pane of the UDDI Page.
In the resulting Actions pane, enter the values: <i>IBM UDDI Test Registry -
wsadtest2</i> and <i>http://uddi.ibm.com/testregistry/inquiryapi</i>
for the <b>Registry Name</b> and <b>Inquiry URL</b> fields respectively. Click
<b>Go</b> to open the registry.</li>
<li>Use the back arrow to reselect UDDI Main and repeat step 3 with <i>IBM
UDDI Test Registry - wsadtest3</i>
in the Registry
Name field.</li>

<h3>WSEUDD01 - Simple Publish (E,R,B)</h3>
<ol>
<li>Select the <b>IBM UDDI Test Registry - wsadtest1</b> node in the UDDI Navigator pane.</li>
<li>Select the Publish tool in the Actions pane toolbar to bring up the
Publish form.</li>
<li>Select <b>Business</b> in the <b>Publish:</b> dropdown.</li>
<li>Select the <b>Simple</b> radio button under Publication format.</li>
<li>Enter the following values in the remaining text fields:</li>

<li>Click <b>Go</b> to publish the business. If successful, a <b>WSEUDD01
business</b> node should be created under the <b>Published Businesses</b> node
and selected. The Actions pane should show the business's details. Ensure that
the description is correct.</li>
<li>Select the <b>IBM UDDI Test Registry - wsadtest1</b> node.</li>
<li>Select the Publish tool in the Actions pane toolbar to bring up the
Publish form.</li>
<li>Select <b>Service </b>in the <b>Publish:</b> dropdown.</li>
<li>Select the <b>Simple</b> radio button under Publication format.</li>
<li>In the Business section, click the <b>Get</b> link to select from
the list of published and discovered businesses. Select <b>WSEUDD01 business</b>
and click the <b>Transfer</b> button to use this business for the publish
operation.</li>
<li>In the WSDL URL section, click on the <b>Browse...</b> button to bring up
the WSDL Browser. Ensure that the <b>Web Projects</b> radio button is
selected under Select a WSDL source:. In the Web Project and WSDL URL
dropdowns, select <b>UDDIWebProject</b> and <b>
http://localhost:8080/UDDIWebProject/wsdl/test/EchoService.wsdl</b>
respectively. Click <b>Go</b> to transfer the URL to the WSDL URL text field
in the publish form.</li>
<li>Enter <i>WSEUDD01 Echo Service</i> for the name of the service and click
<b>Go</b> to publish the service. Note that a service interface named <b>
http://test.wsdl.WebContent/EchoBinding/</b> will also be
published in this case. The newly published service and its service interface
should be added as nodes under the <b>Published Services</b> and <b>Published Service
Interfaces</b> folders in the UDDI Navigator tree view.</li>
<li>Select the <b>IBM UDDI Test Registry - wsadtest1</b> node.</li>
<li>Select the Publish tool in the Actions pane toolbar to bring up the
Publish form.</li>
<li>Select <b>Service Interface</b> in the <b>Publish:</b> dropdown.</li>
<li>Select the <b>Simple</b> radio button under Publication format.</li>
<li>In the WSDL URL section, click on the <b>Browse...</b> button to bring up the WSAD WSDL Browser. Ensure that the Web Projects radio button is selected under

<li>Enter <i>WSEUDD01 Hello Service Interface</i> for the name of the service
interface and click <b>Go</b> to publish the service interface. The newly
published service interface should be added under the <b>Published Service
Interfaces</b> folder.</li>
<li>Select the <b>WSEUDD01 business</b> node under the Published Businesses
folder and click on the Publish Service icon in the resulting Actions tool
bar.</li>
<li>Select the <b>Simple</b> radio button under Publication format.</li>
<li>In the WSDL URL section, click on the <b>Browse...</b> button to bring up
the WSAD WSDL Browser. Ensure that the Web Projects radio button is selected
under Select a WSDL source:. In the Web Project and WSDL URL dropdowns, select
<b>UDDIWebProject</b> and <b>
http://localhost:8080/UDDIWebProject/wsdl/com/ibm/HelloService.wsdl</b>
respectively. Click <b>Go</b> to transfer the URL to the WSDL URL text field
