<strong>Project Description: </strong>
EMF is a modeling framework and code generation facility for building tools and other applications based on a structured data model. EMF includes the <i>XML Schema Infoset Model (XSD)</i> project and an EMF-based implementation of <i>Service Data Objects (SDO)</i>. <em>Note: projects are packaged separately but are
distributed together. Additionally, a combined SDK is
available which includes both the EMF/SDO and XSD projects.
This allows developers to download only what they need.
This split exists with the EMF/SDO &amp; XSD Update Manager
site as well.</em>
</p>
<strong>Key Release Dates:</strong>
<p>
All release dates are aligned with Eclipse
release dates. Thus EMF/SDO &amp; XSD milestones will be
approximately <em>one week</em> after scheduled <a href="http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/eclipse_project_plan_3_2.html#Milestones">Eclipse Milestones</a>.
