Welcome to the downloads page for the Eclipse Parallel Tools Platform (including Photran).

The latest release of PTP is 6.0.5, released March 15, 2013 which works with Eclipse Juno SR2 (4.2.2).

Please see the
release notes and installation instructions for prerequisite information
and instructions on installing PTP Release 6.0.x (both client and target machine (server) parts).

PTP 6.0.5 can be installed two ways:

Install the Eclipse for Parallel Application Developers from the
Eclipse downloads page.
Currently has PTP 6.0.4. Then update to 6.0.5 (see below, but it's essentially step 2(b)).

Install into an existing Eclipse - first download Eclipse, and then use the Eclipse "Help > Install New Software..." menu
to install PTP and its pre-requisites from:

(a) The Eclipse Juno update site:
http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno. Currently has PTP 6.0.4
-or-

(b) The PTP-specific update site:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/updates/juno.
Currently PTP 6.0.5

See the release notes for more details.

Currently, as of Eclipse Juno SR2 (1 March 2012), the Eclipse for Parallel Application Developers
contains PTP 6.0.4. We suggest you install this and update from
the PTP-specific update site
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/updates/juno
will get you the latest PTP (6.0.5).

Other PTP builds are also available from the PTP builds page.

Archived Update Site

Archived update site (You asked for it!) can be downloaded from:

Optional PTP Server Components

Server components for the (original proxy-based) IBM LoadLeveler, IBM PE, and SLURM resource managers, and the parallel debugger, need to be built and installed from source code.
The following download link will work for the 6.0.5 versions of PTP.
See the release notes for instructions on installing the
optional PTP server components. Note this is ONLY required if you want to use the older legacy proxy-based run configurations,
or you want to use the PTP parallel debugger. See

Optional Remote Development Tools (RDT) Server Components

The RDT server components are required if you are using the Remote System Explorer (RSE) as a remote service provider for RDT. If you are using Remote Tools
(installed as part of PTP) the server components are installed automatically. See the release notes for more details on using RSE with RDT.
