<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.4;"><b>From the early years of <a target="_blank" style="color:#fff;" href="http://www.autosar.org/">AUTOSAR</a>, Eclipse has been the platform of choice for the automotive industry. 2009 saw the creation of the <a target="_blank" style="color:#fff;" href="https://wiki.eclipse.org/Auto_IWG">Eclipse Automotive Working Group</a>, with members like BMW, Bosch, and Continental cooperating on an automotive distribution of the Eclipse IDE. Now Eclipse technology -- especially Eclipse modeling -- is ubiquitous in the industry.</p></b></td>

<p>The <a target="_blank" style="color:#000;" href="https://wiki.eclipse.org/Open-Measured-Data-Management-WG">openMDM</a> Eclipse Working Group began in 2014, and supports an ecosystem of open, standardized, and vendor-independent tools and systems for measurement data. Key members of openMDM are Audi, BMW, and Daimler.</p>
<p>Recently, the Eclipse Foundation joined the <a target="_blank" style="color:#000;" href="https://itea3.org/project/amalthea4public.html">Amalthea4Public</a> research project as a full partner. The goal of A4P is to improve software engineering for embedded multi-core systems.</p>
