<p>m2e-wtp aims at providing a tight integration between <a href="https://www.eclipse.org/m2e">Maven
Integration for Eclipse (a.k.a m2e)</a> and the <a href="https://www.eclipse.org/webtools">Eclipse Web Tools Project
(WTP)</a>. m2e-wtp provides a set of m2e connectors used for the
configuration of Java EE projects in WTP.</p>

<h4>m2e-wtp features</h4>
<ul>
<li>Support for war projects : adds the Java and Dynamic Web
Facets. Support war overlays and on-the-fly resource filtering</li>
<li>Support for ejb projects : adds the Java and EJB Facets.</li>
<li>Support for ear projects : adds the EAR Facet. Supports
application.xml and jboss.xml file generation, resource filtering</li>
<li>Support for rar projects : adds the Java and Connector
Facets.</li>
<li>Support for app-client projects : adds the Java and
Application Client Facets. Supports deployment descriptor filtering.</li>
<li>Support for jar dependency projects : adds the Java and

<h3>Current Status</h3>
<p>
m2e-wtp is coming to the Eclipse foundation, as a sub-project of <a href="https://www.eclipse.org/m2e">m2e</a>. You can see the proposal

The initial code contribution has been uploaded to Eclipse.org's <a href="http://git.eclipse.org/c/m2e-wtp/">git repository</a>.

Integration Test code is available on <a href="https://github.com/jbosstools/m2e-wtp-tests/">github</a>.

Our goal is to be part of the Juno SR1 release train (Sep. 2012).

<h3>Dev builds are available</h3>
<p>
Latest CI builds for m2e-wtp 0.16.0 are available from the
<a href="http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/m2eclipse/m2e-wtp-juno/">jboss.org p2 update site</a>. <br/>
Please note that m2e-wtp 0.16.0 requires <a href="http://wiki.eclipse.org/M2E_updatesite_and_gittags#m2e_release_train_contributions">m2e 1.1</a>
and previous m2eclipse-wtp installations need to be uninstalled.
