This page is dedicated to steps necessary to get a development workspace up and running for OSEE. Please contact us if anything
here is not accurate or missing.

<li>Install Java JDK 1.6
<li>Install Eclipse 3.3
<li>Add SVN client to Eclipse by following instructions at <a href="http://www.polarion.org/index.php?page=download&project=subversive">
http://www.polarion.org/index.php?page=download&project=subversive</a>. You will
want to add all plug-ins available at Note: This will allow you to connect to the OSEE SVN repositories AND OSEE uses some of these
plug-ins for compiling.
<li>If not already installed, install the Graphical Editing Framework by selecting Help pulldown - Software Updates -
Find and Install - Search for new features to install - Select GEF Update Site and complete installation.</li>
<li>OSEE uses the GEF's Zest Visualization plugins. To resolve these dependencies, you will need to anonymously connect to the /cvsroot/tools
CVS repository, expand out the org.eclipse.gef project and check out org.eclilpse.zest.core and org.eclipse.zest.layouts projects.

<li>OSEE uses Nebula's CalendarCombo. To resolve this dependencies, you will need to anonymously connect to the /cvsroot/technology
CVS repository, expand out the org.eclipse.swt.nebula project and check out org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.calendarcombo project.

<li>Create two workspaces: workspaceOseeClient and workspaceOseeServer and do the following for each:</li>
<ul>
<li>Connect to the OSEE SVN repository. You will connect using your committer username password or do an
anonymous connection if you are not an OSEE committer. Instructions are here <a href="http://wiki.eclipse.org/SVN_Howto">http://wiki.eclipse.org/SVN_Howto</a>.</li>
<li>checkout org.eclipse.osee.support.config</li>
<li>File -> Import -> Preferences -> org.eclipse.osee.support.config\osee_team.epf</li>
<li>select org.eclipse.osee.support.config\projectSets\Osee[AppServer|Client]ProjectSet.psf -> Import -> Team Project Set</li>
</ul>
<li>In the workspaceOseeServer and do the following for each:</li>
<ul>
<li>Double-click on /targetPlatforms/equinox3.4M6.target – an editor will open</li>
<li>In the editor that opens, in the upper right hand corner click "Set as Target Platform"</li>
<li>Launch the OSEE Application Server using the launch configuration "runOseeServer"</li>
