Bug 529570 - Performance problem with StyledText and line spacing Whenever possible, compute the lineHeight directly from widget state instead of using TextLayout to compute line height. TextLayout does some offscreen approximative rendering of the text to compute the size, this is a quite expensive operation that should be avoided whenever possible.
