| <P><STRONG>Qualifications</STRONG><BR> |
| An Associate Member must be an organization that is either a standards |
| organization, research institution, academic institution, open source |
| organization, or publishing organization that participates in the |
| development of the Eclipse ecosystem. There are no membership dues |
| required for Associate members.<BR> |

| <strong>Benefits</strong><BR><strong style="font-weight: 400">There are no membership |
| fees. However, as Members, Associates can submit requirements, |
| participate in all project reviews and participate fully in |
| all Membership Meetings. This provides a unique advantage to understand |
| plans, directions, and to network with the full Eclipse Eco-system.</strong><p>See |

| <a href="../documents/Eclipse%20MEMBERSHIP%20AGMT%202005_06_16%20Final.pdf">membership agreement</a> and |
| <a href="../documents/Eclipse%20Logo%20Agreement%20%202004_04_14%20final.pdf">logo agreement.</a> |
| <LI>Email the completed application form, members |
| agreement and logo agreements to <A |
| href="mailto:membership@eclipse.org">membership@eclipse.org</A>. The |
| membership application will be reviewed by the Eclipse Foundation, Inc. |
| to assure the prospective member meets the |
| membership criteria and is |
| consistent with other members of the same membership class. |
| <LI>Applicant companies will be notified by the Eclipse Foundation of the decision |
| within 2 to 4 days of completing the administrative process. |
| <LI>The new member company can then issue an announcement press release, |
| including a supporting quote from the Eclipse Foundation. </LI></OL> |
