| This document lays out the feature and API set for the 0.9.0 release of the EMFT Mint project. |
| This project plan inherits from the Eclipse Modeling Framework Technology (EMFT) Project Plan, |
| which should be referenced when consulting this individual project plan. |
| </div><h2><a name="release_deliverables">Release Deliverables</a></h2><div> |
| The release deliverables have the same form as is found in most Eclipse projects, namely: |

| Mint source code release, available as versions tagged with "R0_9_0" in the project's |
| CVS repository. |

| Mint SDK, which includes runtime, sources, examples, and documentation, |

| Release milestones occur at roughly 6 week intervals |
| and follow the Platform release milestone by the Helios-established +2 delta interval. |
| The final Mint 0.9.0 release will available simultaneously |
| with the 3.6 release of the Platform and all the other Helios projects. |
| It is anticipated that Mint will synchronize its milestones |
| with any changes to the Helios milestone schedule. |

| Mint 0.9.0 will depend on version 3.6 of the Eclipse Platform Project, as well as on |
| EMF Core 2.6.0. While the Platform targets Java™ 2, Standard Edition (J2SE), |
| v1.4 as the minimum required Java Runtime Environment (JRE), EMF Core requires at least J2SE 5.0. |
| Therefore, Mint 0.9.0 will also require J2SE 5.0 or later. |
| The Eclipse Platform SDK 3.6 will be tested and validated on a number of reference platforms; |
| Mint will only be tested and validated against a subset of those. |
| Given that there is no operating system dependent code in Mint, |
| it is expected that Mint will work in any environment supported by the Eclipse Platform and EMF Core. |
| </div><h3>Internationalization</h3> |

| The Eclipse Platform is designed as the basis for internationalized products. |
| The user interface elements provided by the Eclipse SDK components, |
| including dialogs and error messages, are externalized. |
| The English strings are provided as the default resource bundles. |
| Similarly, the Mint project will externalize all its user interface elements, |
| provide English strings for them in its default bundles, |
| and localize a subset of the locales offered by the Platform. |
| The download page will provide the details as they become available. |

| The Mint project will be developed in parallel, |
| and released simultaneously, |

| and will publish binary and source compatibilities with migration guides on subsequent releases. |
